Probably the most boring website you will ever read but I don't care
I put together this site for a class assignment in HTML 5. I had this domain sticking around and decided to put it up for the world to see. Or at least my friends and family to see.
You will note by the navagation bar that I have a wide variety of topics covered and a page that denotes each one. Have a look and listen. and if you have comments, keep them to your self as I was tired of having the contact form hacked. .
This site has another use. If and when I become unemployed, it will be used to spout to the world about all of the reasons that they would want to hire me either dispite my blindness or because of it. For now it is here to have a presents on the net which has been here since 2001 and to make use of something that I keep paying for every year.
General Hobbies
One of my favourite thing to do is to watch the NASA channel on the internet. I do not have cable TV hence why I watch it on the internet. Other things I do on the internet are:
Read books and articles
Listen to music
Much of my work is done on the internet
Go to class
Things You Can Only Do in the Summber
In the summer I am a Canadian Football League fan and I watch every game in the league. Of course, every game means every team. Check it out on my Football Page. Compared to the NFL, it is a small league.
If you are phoning me, please check the CFL main page and click on schedule. and make sure that I am not occupied on my deck with a beer listening to the game either on the local radio or a computer for games that do not pertain to Winnipeg.
You may also find me in the evening listening to a Winnipeg Goldeyes game. This is a baseball team whose home is in Winnipeg. I only watch Winnipeg and you can find me listening to games on the local radio station.
Winter Hobbies
Because I live in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, my main winter hobby is shoveling snow and spending as much time inside as possible. I spend time:
Reading
Playing on the computer
Listening to music books and TV
Examples of those hobbies include Attending Classes and either reading the classics, or looking for new books and plays to read during the long winter months.
I also have a tendancy to find projects that take a lot of time during those months to keep me busy. For example, one yeare, I converted all of myVHS movies to DVD to play later. Another year I converted all of my DVD movies to MP4 to play on the apple TV or the computer. I got tired of fingering through old DVD's to find movies. Next year I intend to try and make my x10 hardware work with either google home or alexa. I'm considering using a raspberry pi for this work.
